The main courtyard again - look at the decoration along the top of the building. It is hard to see because it is so bright but it was so beautiful Posted by Hello

It's Lost!

Last night, I wrote an amazing post that I may try to recreate later, but it disapeared! I can't believe it's not anywhere. It was so good! :) Well, for now, I am going to put some pictures up of my walk around the castle from last friday. It was the most beautiful day yet here. I can't wait til it is like this always! Today isn't so bad either - it is still cold but at least it looks beautiful. The picture of the sky is from today.

Me and a pretty background Posted by Hello

I like doughnuts....I had two! The funny this was that I bought the first one for 1 zloty and when we got the second, it had gone up to 1 zloty 50...in five minutes! That's some huge inflation! Posted by Hello

An indoor market place...pretty cool. That's me... Posted by Hello

Tom and Allan like this picture because the beer looks bigger than my head...it's really sad.  Posted by Hello

I like Oranges :) Posted by Hello

Tom was happy we'd finally found Okocim - instead of Krakow's more popular one (the brewery is very close) called Zywiec. Posted by Hello

Trip to Wroclaw

Hello!!
Sorry I haven't posted anything in over a week! Anyways, I've put lots of pictures up of my Friday and Saturday trip to Wroclaw. I should be getting some more (hopefully with me in!) from Allan soon. It was an amazing place to visit. There are churches everywhere and on Saturday it was really sunny so I also went up a 91m tower to see the city. It was amazing. You could walk around and see in every direction for miles!

The town is origninally German - one that was transfered when the Eastern boarder was moved West. It was called Breslau - a town completely destroyed in WWII. It has obviously been rebuilt but in appropriate style. A really good history of the town is here - http://www.wroclaw.pl/m6852/ But it does have a different number of bridges than the tourist office literature said! :)

The panorama building in the pictures below was great. We had a spoken story thing when looking at the painting with full historical background. It was amazing. The link can tell you about it more though - http://www.wroclaw.pl/m6864/p7271.aspx

Well...enjoy the pictures! I'll try to be more diligent in my updating this week!
